We were dropping $15 on new CD’s in 1998, which is equivalent to $28 in 2023. People get mad that a record costs $25-40 (meanwhile, CD’s are $12 or $13). If you think things are getting too expensive, instead consider the possibility that most of us aren’t getting paid enough.
