bobbin type of day today, this is the shortest of the set so the easiest. Oak was traditional for these I stop the lathe to see the finish before sanding and you can see why it’s so loved.

There’s something relaxing about slow motion videos and and a planing cut in a taper with the skew is so much fun.

Egg shape. Much easier than a sphere but still requires good control. The finish of the final egg shows how good your technique and tool control is.Easter round the corner eggs are always in demand, pop them in a small bowl with potpourri, great practice

You need complete tool control for this. A skew on 225mm dia KD Oak. Look how much of the edge I’m using😮Sorry about my poor video zooming but I’m useless at this sort of thing.
See the quality of finish off the tool. Don’t try this you are responsible for your own safety.
