Given the eyesight challenges I’m facing, perhaps I could be forgiven for using the same image twice for #WildFlowerHour yesterday! Having only shared 24 of the wildflower species #StillFlowering here, here’s 13 more - the companion picture I should have shared originally. With

BREAKING! MP Munira Wilson 🇺🇦 has just introduced a PFAS forever chemical bill that would set out legal limits for toxic PFAS in water & ramp up regulation on their production. We've been falling so far behind the EU and US. It's time to catch up!

Bluesky is definitely a kinder place.. However, having weighed everything up I've decided to continue posting here, too Unfortunately it's a challenge to be seen these days. So, if you see this, please may I ask you to repost, so I can re-find my tribe? Thank you! 🐝

If you’re interested to find highways outfalls that are polluting your local river, now is the time 🕰️ This outfall will be hidden in the undergrowth in a few weeks, but by locating it now, I’ve given myself the best chance of finding it again in the rain ☔️ in the Spring 👍🏻

This #EarthDay2025 seems a good moment to share some wonderful Gerard Manley Hopkins: “What would the world be, once bereft Of wet and of wildness? Let them be left, O let them be left, wildness and wet; Long live the weeds and the wilderness yet.”

The adaptation mechanisms in the Climate Change Act have always been politically ignored, borderline academic exercises when the last 17 years should have been useful preparation time. Likelihood is it will only be taken seriously when too late. theguardian.com/commentisfree/…
