Shad Thames in Bermondsey, runs parallel to the River Thames. A collection of former warehouses with interconnecting gangways over the street. These structures are now expensive living quarters and retail outlet.

If much more water falls in north London we’ll be white water rafting on the Dollis Brook.

The Welsh Harp Reservoir, north London, has been drained for maintenance and repairs. The reservoir is used as a feed for the Regent’s and Grand Union Canals. Some of the migratory birds looked a bit miffed “this wasn’t in the brochure”. Canal & River Trust Welsh Harp Conservation Group

Yesterday I learned there's an underground tunnel beneath Gower Street connecting the Anatomy dept in the main UCL campus with the redbrick Cruciform building built in 1906 as University College Hospital (replacing the original hospital building of 1834).

The main hall of the Queen’s House, Greenwich is a perfect 40 ft cube. James I commissioned the architect Inigo Jones to create this 2-storey Palladian house for his wife. The house was the first Palladian structure to be built in England and was considered radical at the time.
