Happy Arbor Day! Thank you to the City of Park Ridge for coming by and planting some trees at Carpenter Elementary School. Our students had fun getting to help a little and hearing about the history and importance of Arbor Day! #ArborDay #engageD64

A few of the things my dad has set out in preparation for his presentation to my ⁦LincolnD64⁩ students tomorrow about his time serving in Vietnam. #engageD64

Happy Buchheit Day! Roosevelt and Field 3rd-graders walked to Hodges Park to learn all about Park Ridge’s first-ever mayor, Albert Buchheit, who was elected on May 24th, 1910. The learning experience was related to the social studies curriculum on history and civics.

It was an honor to participate in the IASA Aspiring Superintendent Academy! I appreciated the opportunity. Hopefully my message resonated. I can’t wait to see what this group accomplishes for students across the state in the future. 🙌 Dr. Courtney Orzel Michael Lubelfeld Nick Polyak

It’s August, and the first day of school will be here before we know it! Our building and district administrators have spent the past few days going over the strategic plan and getting ready for the new school year. We can’t wait for students and staff to join us soon! #engageD64

Still a memory seared in my mind years later- may we all take a moment to remember those who lost their lives that day #NeverForget911
