The last time we had this much cash was just before taking our lump sums in Jan 2020 and I started dripping money back into markets just before Covid! As we've 2x 5 week trips this year, have lumped 100k into #CSH2 money market ETF for now. Happy just to keep our 8% YTD tbh.

Been away for Mum's 90th so bit late on this, but #CSN on my watchlist as diversification from #PHNX after the recent run so really appreciated the timing of Henry's explainer. πŸ™

For reasons outside our control we are on a month-long van trip round bits of Europe, currently roasting in Bled. There are lots of pics I could post to represent the holiday so far but this one from Kitzbuhel seems to neatly cover everything

My wish has been granted, courtesy of Mrs RI who is probably hoping that a meeting with (like-minded) investors might reduce all the mutterings about NAVs, DGInein etc... Hope to meet some FinTwitterati IRL for the first time and maybe have a 🍺or 2 🀞

2025.Q2 numbers are as in as working on Slovenian campsite WiFi will allow and I'm more than pleased with over 9% YTD with Q2 putting in a respectable 7%. Holding on to renewables, REITs and boring debt and insurance income finally coming good.

#dgi9 #arqiva Rolled over a 500mΒ£ float over Sonia opened in 2022 With a 500m senior bond that was issued at 8 5/8% Two things 1 they are clearly not generating enough cash to pay back the debt 2 they are paying far more interest on the debt So with a declining EBITDA

Just back from month away and pleased to see #BRWM allocation going ok so far whilst we've been YOLOing. Few PE holdings like #OCI, #IPO, #ICGT done well too. I'm liking the much more boring look to our PFs

Loved this pod . Almost as if you'd done the PE slot just for me. I hold or have held nearly all the ITs below and am overweight PE generally. Many NAVs have trodden water post-ZIRP as discounts widened. 1 I've also had a while is #ICGT alongside employee of the year #OCI πŸ˜€

There aren't many opportunities like this one to meet like-minded investors, listen to some renowned speakers and get free drinks too! I suspect Mrs RI is secretly hoping she doesn't have to suffer my IT Nav discounts rant for a while afterwards too...

I've never visited this link before, having always had an message from Hargreaves Lansdown and a corporate action icon so voting against the #GSF proposals was via a new method for me.

This was a great opportunity to be both educated and entertained. Sorry to have missed many of you at the after-drinks and apologies to Annabel Brodie-Smith for my long-winded IT discounts question too - will hope to make amends on both scores at the next one 😁
