Happy to share our recent work in Nucleic Acids Res doi.org/10.1093/nar/gk…. We unravel the mechanism of deamination of Mycobacterium enzyme that selects for mutagenic bases, protecting Mtb from triazines. Kudos to Rajarshi Chakrabarti and Anand Lab for their collaborative efforts.
