From the Archives – Dambusters Raid, Operation Chastise In 2018, the Royal Air Force Club had the honour of welcoming Sqn Ldr George “Johnny” Johnson for a special Club Dinner, where he spoke of his experiences during the Dambusters raid on the morning of 17th May 1943.

Singapore Via Southamptons by Alan Fearnley The RAF Far East Flight flew four Southampton flying boats from England to Australia. A notable example by the RAF to open up the air routes across the Empire. The painting hangs at the top of the stairs by the stained glass window.⁠
