This week, 3rd grade students from both lower school campus’ visited the Wabash & Erie Canal in Delphi, Indiana. The students enjoyed a full day outdoors learning about early Indiana waterways as well as early life in Indiana when it first became a state in 1816. #FieldTripFriday

Late last Friday night, our 8th grade students and faculty returned from the first Washington, DC trip since 2019! One of the most memorable field trips for our alumni, the Class of 2023 spent 2 full days in our nation's capital visiting museums, memorials and monuments.

Our Pre-K Center had their first Fall Festival a few weeks ago and it was a fantastic success! Students, parent volunteers, and faculty enjoyed the morning picking out their pumpkins, expanding their senses, and racing around the playground obstacle course. #TheOaksAcademy #prek

Last week, our 1st Grade classes visited Kelsay Farms for a day full of hands-on learning! Mrs. Kausch shared that students "learned about the products animals make, got to see/pet many different animals and also explored various stations around the farm." #FieldTripFriday

As we approach Veterans Day this Friday, November 11th, we spent time in this morning's chapel to recognize and acknowledge the Veterans, Active Duty & Public Servants in our Oaks community. Grateful for their service and opportunity to honor them today.

Last week, our Pre-K students took an exciting #fieldtrip to Eagle Creek to visit their Ornithology center! Students learned from the center's naturalists, engaged in various hands-on learning games and activities, and were able to see the resident birds that live at the park.

In preparation for their roles as docents of their own Egyptian Museum in the coming weeks, students in 2nd grade at our Brookside campus visited The Children's Museum earlier this week! Students especially loved exploring Seti's tomb and applying their knowledge about Egypt. #atTCM
