The Nostalgic Tough call. The problem is, it's super hard to filter out the Baader-Meinhof effect where you look for evidence that your positive thinking is working.

The Nostalgic As in if I think happy thoughts happens will be all I receive? No that's delusional. Do I think a positive mindset and mental image is important and releases chemicals in the body that are beneficial leading to a better/healthier outlook? Yes that's basic biology.

The Nostalgic I do, however I also believe in positive actions as well. Thinking is great. However, taking actions on those positive thoughts are more impactful.

The Nostalgic Yes. But it’s become such a cliché. I think in moderation, the power of positive thoughts is beneficial. Often ppl have to fake it till they make it. And don’t get me started on toxic positivity cuz that’s bad stuff.

The Nostalgic No. They probably make you feel better but beyond that? No. Basic ability plus hard work and preparation will get you farther than positive thoughts.

The Nostalgic Not to where it becomes toxic positivity/denial of valid feelings, but overall, yes. Your mindset impacts so much, your thought patterns are powerful.
