We're joining the ABO's #musicthatmovesyou campaign, celebrating all the joy it brings us in our day to day lives. Music can bring joy to people in so many other ways - from a favourite recording to a workshop in a school! What is your favourite piece, Mozart or not?!

Beethoven's 9th Symphony was premiered on this day in 1824 - 200 years ago! One of the greatest symphonies ever written, we performed this seminal work at our own anniversary (although it was only our 20th...) in 2017 at the Barbican.

Ian Page Wigmore Hall Samantha Clarke The Mozartists Wonderful evening. The joy of it all. I think that was the happiest orchestra I have ever witnessed, and it came shining through in the music.
And the soloists were both breathtaking.
