New work from the Booth and Meijer labs in GLIA. Really great to have finished off this study in my own lab at the new @UoN_BDI supported by an Academy of Medical Sciences Springboard. Excellent memories of my time with Dies in Edinburgh. Na Zdrowie @ninakozar :-) onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/gl…

A nice Nottingham Research blog about our team. Probably also a good time to mention some recent awards - including a BBSRC David Phillips Fellowship! Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research. We are hiring @UoN_BDI ...🙂🙂🙂 blogs.nottingham.ac.uk/researchexchan…

“The The Company of Biologists Travelling Fellowship gave me the opportunity to travel to Daniel Booth and learn new laboratory techniques" Read about Connor Gilkes-Imeson's Connor Gilkes-Imeson Newcastle University Centre for Cancer experience and why he encourages others to apply for funding: biologists.com/stories/a-trav…

Sorry I couldn't make this Tania Mendonca, but was proud to hear from several colleagues that you gave an excellent talk! Good work!

Had a super time meeting up with the other UK Research and Innovation Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Fellows in Manchester. Some great chat about ongoing work in our lab @UoN_BDI and also see other cool BBSRC funded science!

At #elmi2024,multimodal imaging took centre stage. A whirlwind with talks on chip-based imaging Balpreet Singh Ahluwalia, MSI (Karsten Niehaus), microglia (Csaba Cserép), chromosome architecture Daniel Booth & polarisation microscopy(Sophie Brasselet). Lots of (whisper it) EM @ ELMI!

Happy Birthday Antonie van Leeuwenhoek. How microscopes have changed in 300 years. Coincidentally today have been ZEISS Microscopy headquarters Oberkochen and got to hold an original AvL microscope American Society for Cell Biology Jordan Raff @UoN_BDI #cellspeak BSCB
