Hey Peel District School Board, if I decide to talk about how breathtakingly stupid this year's inclement weather policy is, am I required to be diplomatic about the well-deserved utter lambasting it gets, or am I free to use whatever colourful language I like to discuss its horrid inequities?

Pink Shirt Day bothers me. Same roots as Day of Pink - the Nova Scotia teens, yada yada - but boiled down to a generic anti-bullying message rather than calling out the homophobic roots of the problem. We don't need both. And if we do, they both need to be truthful.

Dear Peel District School Board, I would like to extend a formal invitation for members of senior leadership to spend one full day in my portable or one of the classrooms on a day for which we receive an extreme heat advisory. Then, explain why those days aren't inclement weather days.

I'm sorry to be contrarian here, but Peel District School Board, I would rather pay my own money for a Google Classroom than use Brightspace. Respectfully, I would appreciate the chance for some dialogue on the issue before you "phase out" our professional agency and judgement on VLEs.
