‘The Last of Us’ released on June 14th, 2013 (12 years ago today) worldwide on the PS3. It sold 1.3 million copies within the first 7 days of release & went on to sell over 20 million (counting the PS4 remaster). It received a sequel in 2020 & an HBO series that began in 2023.

Pinball Spire‘s only real downfall is that there isn’t more of it to play. Scott L. Clark, M.Ed played through this game twice now on 2 different platforms, a testament to its quality. This definitely falls into the category of a solid “weekend game” & it’s appropriately priced for that.

20 years ago today (June 15th, 2005), ‘Batman Begins’ released on the PS2, Xbox, GameCube & GBA. Based on the film by the same name, the game is a stealth/action adventure game. It was also the last time a video game based on a Warner Brothers Batman film released.

‘On Your Tail’ delivers on its promise of being a cozy, detective adventure from making friends & playing mini-games, to solving the crime of the mask thief terrorizing Borgo Marina. Unfortunately, David can’t recommend this game on the Switch with all its technical problems.

“Guard’s II: Prologue is a glimpse into ‘Guards II: Chaos in Hell, which releases on June 19, 2025 on Steam. The pixelated art-style is well-crafted, but the combat was a little too difficult, despite its simplicity. By no means is this a bad game.”
