Historically speaking, NCAA investigations (especially on gambling matters) are not good. For them to hit on this means there is a LOT more out there.

First, the NBA. Now, MLB. How long until this hits the NFL? (And yes, thus is very rewarding for me because I really did "Told you so.")

Without knowing the details, I'm pretty confident more was behind this than making $12K on a couple of errant pitches. Some sort of external force was likely in play here.

But I was a "conspiracy theorist" for suggesting games were/are being fixed for the past 15 years.

Because that's enough cash to get a player to fix a game.
