📣WE ARE BACK!📣 Over the past month we have started back with our rowing sessions!🚣‍♂️ Students from St Cuthberts Primary School Possilpark and Active Schools were the first to take to the water this year!🌈We are looking forward to many more adventures on the canal in 2024!

Earlier this Spring we had more Primary 7s from St Cuthberts finish their rowing blocks at Firhill! Thanks to PEPASS Glasgow and @ActiveschoolsTM, we ve been able to have lots of pupils take to the water this year so far💪🌈🚣🏻

Great to continue this partnership with Firhill Youth Project and Community Sports Hub and PEPASS Glasgow #ActiveSchools Top coaches and volunteers! 👏 Been able to get multiple schools out on the water for free. 🚣 😁👍 Saint Charles’ Primary & LCR St Cuthbert's RC PS Primary John Paul Academy Glasgow Sport

Over the past few months we have also welcomed North United Communities back to Firhill for some rowing sessions!💪🚣🏻 The young people have braved some rainy conditions so far but they will be joining us again for our Summer programme🌈☀️ Bring on the sunshine!

🤝V O L U N T E E R W E E K🤝 Happy volunteer week to all our amazing volunteers and coaches who make it possible for our rowing sessions to take place for the local young people! Without them, we wouldn’t be able to see these young people improve and gain confidence every week

A few weeks ago our Summer Programme was kickstarted by Young Movers ☀️🌈 The young people were lucky with the weather and managed to improve their rowing skills together on the canal!🚣🏻 Please reach out if you would like to take part in our rowing sessions!😊

☀️ Summer Programme ☀️ Another group who has joined us for our Summer Programme is GlasgowAfghanUnited!🚣🏻 New individuals were able to join us each week and the difference between their first and final sessions was amazing to see🌈☀️

That marks the end of the 2024 Summer Programme!☀️🌈🚣🏻 What a fantastic (and very busy) summer full of rowing sessions at Firhill! We had so many new organisations and young people join us over the past few months. Thank you to all who were involved❤️🌈
