I made it. No, I didn't travel anywhere and arrive at a destination. I didn't whip up something in the kitchen. But I still made it. I made it through another day & sometimes just doing that is worth celebrating. If you're reading this, you made it, too. I'm thankful for both

Good evening. Real talk again: I am safe and I am okay. I am also back in the psych ward because this is where I need to be. Staring at these walls for potentially 6 days or more is better than 6 feet under. Whatever it takes is exactly what I will do. This is step 1. Much ♥️

Sitting in a psych ward for recent thoughts of ending my life at the exact same hospital where, 11 yrs ago today, I had a cancerous tumor removed from kidney that could have ended my life is........something. I'll still find a way to celebrate 11 years cancer free today. Cheers.

Every year on this day I cry. Always. Without fail. I never expected to live beyond my 20's. Today I turn 49. I'm thankful to still be alive and be here for my kids. I'm grateful. Birthday wish: Everyone who reads this reach out to someone today & check on them please. Cheers.
