On Jordan’s Principle Day, we honour the memory of Jordan River Anderson, from Norway House Cree Nation. Jordan’s Principle is a child first principle & legal rule that ensures First Nations children receive health, social & educational services & supports when they need them.

Summer Solstice holds cultural significance for many Indigenous peoples. Nearly 300 Duke of Cambridge PS students received traditional teachings and stories about each season and created beautiful murals with the help of Melody Crowe & artist Koren Smoke from Alderville First Nation.
