Not losing any sleep over it. But again, you said it:

“As long as he’s healthy.”

Which, you can’t guarantee.

Donate Smith had 100 carries for 504 yards and 4 TD’s in 2023.

Another invite for rookie mini camp for the Giants.

Of course Jones has the higher numbers than Lock.

Lock was a full time starter for one season with Jones for 5. And Lock didn’t even see the field for one of those years, so that definitely skews things for Jones.

Even so, if you think that much of Jones’ chances, then Jones

Pointing out that Drew Lock is a capable NFL quarterback who can challenge Daniel Jones is “bashing him.”

Not quite.

The Rams have signed former Eagles running back Boston Scott.

10 of Scott’s 17 career touchdowns came against the Giants. Now he’ll join a backfield that has Kyren Williams and rookie Blake Corum.

Lock didn’t play with top talent in Denver. No 1,000 yard rusher or receiver for Denver in 2020.

But if Lock isn’t better than Jones, let Jones show that in camp over the summer. If he’s healthy.

If not, then yes, Lock deserves the chance to start and play.

Yes. They gave Dave Gettleman 4 years with not a single winning season to show for it.

They can at least give Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen a 4th year if they don’t have a good season in 2024.

Which was 4 years ago and 2 teams ago.

I’d say, if he isn’t good, let Brian Daboll and Mike Kafka make that determination.

He did look rather competent in the last game he played in against the Eagles last season.

I agree, the Giants should draft their own. And with this current regime, they should be able to pick their own guy after inheriting the last one.

I had the list of free agent QB’s who were available after 2024 because people were asking who might be available.

When did Jake Fromm ever do this in the league?

Jake Fromm right now is at best, a practice squad player and maybe a 3rd string QB.

Drew Lock is definitely more than that. Lock deserves a season to start.

You don’t know Drew Lock is terrible.

He’s made 23 career starts; the equivalent of less than 1.5 seasons.

And he’s on his third team because Denver gave up on him too soon and traded him to overpay for Russ, who got released.

Then Seattle had Geno there and paid him to be the

The Patriots have signed former Giants LB Oshane Ximines.

Ximines was the Giants former 3rd round pick from 2019.

Had 6.5 sacks in 5 seasons. Signed a one-year deal before 2023. Was released by the Giants in late November.

Yes, IF HEALTHY, Daniel Jones is the starter.

Will he be healthy Week 1? Don’t know.

That also doesn’t mean Drew Lock can’t come in and push Jones for his spot and try to beat him for the job.

Your opinion.

Actual facts, Chuck.

Yes, if healthy, Daniel Jones is currently expected to be the QB1 in training camp and the preseason. Which Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll have said.

Does that mean Drew Lock can’t come in and beat him out for the job? No. Lock can if he looks

The last time that happened, the Giants took Saquon over drafting a QB.

A move and essentially, a Giants fanbase argument of whether that was the right move or not, that was ongoing since 2018 until Saquon left.
