We have more good news to share! The Cumnock Tryst has been nominated for the 2025 Royal Philharmonic Society Series and Events Award! Regarded by many as the BAFTAs for classical music, this is a huge honour for the Tryst.


Combining artistic excellence with deep community engagement, The Cumnock Tryst is beautifully embedded in its East Ayrshire locality. The festival unites professional musicians, young people and diverse communities, creating and performing their own music. #RPSAwards

Today we started back with Drake Music Scotland at Hillside School as part of our multi-year project ‘The Unbroken Thread’! We will be working with a group of senior pupils and service users at the Riverside Centre until October to make music alongside players from the Hebrides Ensemble
