Question. Now that school hols is almost over. Why do city people holidaying in ‘the country’ have to always wear brand new ‘country hats’? It’s sure not to blend in.

Australia is the only country I know that gives a three fold tax break on Super, on contributions, on earnings in the fund and on exit that are skewed in favour of the wealthy, that costs the budget billions per year. Reasonable to ask whether this can be justified?

Me right now marking an assignment about ChatGPT’s impacts on academic submissions and potential for experimental design… would someone be this daring?

finland tried to say the root cause of climate change is fossil fuels, but saudi arabia pushed back, and the line didn't make it into the summary for policymakers (which is separate from the scientific report that can't be touched by governments) 3/

Embarrassingly I only just noticed the electorate borders have changed as I voted and we’ve been pushed to a different electorate… which means probably the highest greens voting area is now in another electorate. Is this gerrymandering or chance?

Tomorrow marks the beginning of the bulk of Australian fixed rate mortgages ending and borrowers rolling off onto higher rates. Over the course of the next quarter 222k fixed loans will expire at the Big 4 banks alone, followed by 207k in Q3.

It is five years since I was charged with telling the truth and standing up for the law in Australia, which was my job. I too will face a secret trial, shamelessly influenced by the US (who have no place in our Courts). It’s the only life my 2 daughters can remember. #auspol

Many months ago my snakes and sound paper was desk-rejected multiple times by various journal editors b/c it was ‘not of wide enough public interest.’ I look forward to informing them I had 36 interviews in 1mo and reached 779M people, worth $7.1M in advertising. 🐍=popular!

Hate to do this. But hello Air New Zealand, I’ve been messaging you for 4 weeks about getting the reimbursement I was offered for complications from diverted flight. You’ve got all the deets. HMU. Cheers 🥂
