#OnThisDay in โ98 Michael Schumacher won the #ArgentineGP for Ferrari. I wasnโt there - because I watched the race on TV in the comfy sitting room of a newly retired #F1 legend. Click to read the Motor Sport magazine column I wrote about that humbling afternoon.

Remembering Stirling Moss, who died #OnThisDay 4 years ago. In 2016 Kevin Magnussen told me heโd love to meet Moss - so I arranged for us to have lunch with him at his Mayfair home. Click to read the Motor Sport magazine column I wrote about that touching day.

#HappyBirthday Corrado Fabi, 63. He drove 12 #F1 GPs, 9 for Osella (โ83) & 3 for Brabham (โ84), subbing for his bro Teo when he was on #IndyCar duty. But that was the end of Corradoโs F1 stint. He did some IndyCar, some #F3000 , then retired. Pic: Osella FA1D, Monaco, โ83 (DNQ).
Remembering my childhood hero Carlos Reutemann, born #OnThisDay in โ42. Here he is using all the road, but no more, in a Porsche 928 S4, which he was road-testing for #QuattroRuote magazine. He told journalist Peter Windsor that it was the best-handling road car heโd ever driven.
Remembering Robert Manzon, born #OnThisDay in 1917. He started 28 GPs, all but 5 in French blue Gordinis, bagging 2 podiums: Spa โ52 & Reims โ54. #AnorakFact : he died in 2015, the last surviving entrant of the first ever #F1 world championship (โ50). Pic: Gordini T32, Reims, โ56.
We've got a brand new episode of #AndColossallyThatsHistory out NOW - and this one is all about one man and the impact he had on #F1
That's right, in this week's episode, Matt Bishop ๐ณ๏ธโ๐ ๐ & Richard Williams are talking ALL about Michael Schumacher

#OnThisDay one year ago was published the first of my ongoing series of weekly Motor Sport magazine columns. It described & celebrated the best opening lap in #F1 history, which was driven #OnThisDay in โ93. If you know, you know.

Remembering Pete Lovely, born #OnThisDay in โ26. He entered 11 #F1 GPs, starting in โ59 & ending in โ71, & - #AnorakFact - he shares with Jan Lammers the distinction of racing in 3 F1 decades without scoring a world championship point. Lovely name though. Lovely transporter, too.
