Well Brett J. Manley 🤷🏼‍♂️ you appear to be moving ever closer to that day of enlightenment and bravery when you replace CPAP with High Flow for all non-invasive respiratory support. Meet us on the other side! You know you want to. Peter Reynolds @ccroehr

Parents might just appreciate seeing more of their baby’s face and not have to worry at all about nasal injury. Try putting it to a vote with your hard working nurses. Brett J. Manley 🤷🏼‍♂️

Possibly better but not the best. That is why we apply nasal High Flow within the first minute of life in all preterm babies requiring non-invasive support. Make the logical leap - you know you want to. Brett J. Manley 🤷🏼‍♂️ Peter Reynolds

Lunch! You should be so lucky. When I were lad on’t surgical firm, I’d go days without a meal. Good to hear you are having fun Olivia Ray but don’t be tempted away from your career path towards a Chair in Neonatology.

Used in Oxford on up to 10 babies a year with apnoea resistant to caffeine of up to 20mg/Kg/day. Having ruled out other causes of apnoea, it almost invariably works. IV for 1 week. Can switch to oral at 30% higher dose. Keep up Brett J. Manley 🤷🏼‍♂️

To be highly recommended (getting fit for the future)….Great posts Peter. I’ll spread the word amongst the youngsters.

Quite right Peter. I was corrected on the spelling of fetusby Prof Andrew Wilkinson the first day I stepped into the Oxford (English) Neonatal Unit. But it is time you learned the correct abbreviation nHFT rather than the shortened slang on the streets of Chertsey and Melbourne.

I would ask why they had been intubated and not received LISA or MIST in the DR whilst on nHFT, transferred to the NNU on nHFT and thereafter maintained on nHFT. Or am I too New Age?

‘Nobody does it better, Makes me feel sad for the rest, Nobody does it half as good as Oxford, Our Experience is the best.’ Been doing this for years. Keep up guys! Brett J. Manley 🤷🏼‍♂️ Calum Roberts Peter Reynolds @ccroehr Dr. Amit Gupta

Congratulations to Norwich Paul Clarke and team. I recall your presentation at #REASON about a decade ago. What happened to the Birthday Cuddle? If there has been a PC shift don’t attempt to explain to me. Wake me up again when DRC reaches the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
