This Wednesday I will give seminar presentation on the emergence of post-truth politics in the age of populism. I will discuss on how to conceptualize post-truth politics and analyze the 2023 Turkish elections to see how populist actors instrumentalize post-truth politics.

I will also give insights from my recently published paper, co-authored with Ahmet Sözen and present some of our prominent findings in regards to the 2023 Turkish election to understand the role of post-truth in populists’ electoral political strategies.
