🏆 WE'VE WON AGAIN! 🏆

We're really excited to announce that for the 8TH YEAR in a row we've been placed in the top 1% of all B&Bs (16th in the UK to be precise) in the annual TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice Awards for the Best of the Best accommodation providers.

The Waddling Duck at Hamiltons used to be in Wellswood and now has a lovely spot In Babbacombe just a 10 min taxi ride from The 25, or they have a car park if you choose to drive.

Russell continues to cook delicious food and Lydia & her friendly team serve efficiently. #torquay

Where did 9 years go? We still remember rushing round preparing the rooms for our first ever guests to The 25. One of those guests will be back again on Friday this week.

What a lovely evening. Award winning fish & chips at Pier Point Chippy Co, amazing sky on the English Riviera followed by Sleuth at Princess Theatre, Torquay.

Great meal as usual at Chelston Manor and only a short walk from The 25. Our guests always comment on the friendly staff & the great home made food.

There’s an interesting new exhibition at Torre Abbey for you to see next time you’re here all about the history of the Cary family. The 25 was built on Cary land which they were forced to sell off whilst living at the abbey.

We have a new pet! Not sure on a name yet. Maybe we should have a competition to name it?

What’s your favourite “little touch” that we do?

Julian has been busy again with the never ending painting freshening the place up ready for the new season.

On this day two years ago we’d just added more lights to our front garden. Everyone knows where our B&B is because of the lights. Our neighbours have slowly been adding lights since, making Avenue Road even prettier on the way to Torre Abbey and the sea.

We’re rapidly nearing the end of 2023. It’s been a good year for us. There’s been plenty of events going on in Torquay, and we’ve made some nice memories. We’re looking forward to a new year which is looking busy as we have lots of ahead bookings. Best wishes for 2024 from A&J
