When you burn people out, you push them out. Stars are the first to leave—they have the most opportunities. The solution is not to pile on the perks. It’s to pinpoint the root causes of overload and design more manageable jobs. If you want to keep people, stop exhausting them.

Our Academic Advisory volunteers are the best! Such tremendous dedication to FHSD. Tonight they’re reviewing 15 curriculum documents and 6 resources in preparation for submission to the Board on March.

A large group of FHSD elementary teachers are reflecting on and evaluating three ELA resources that went through a trial this school year. It’s amazing to work with such a talented and dedicated teachers! Our future is bright!

Huge thanks to Jason Ruth Stephanie Mantle and BUFFY MCLAUGHLIN. These Hollenbeck teachers spent the night on the school roof after students raised over $25,000 completing hundreds of acts of kindness. The teachers, the students, staff, and PTO went ABOVE and beyond!
