Yesterday, SDN in partnership with ActionAid Nigeria and with support from Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office presented key demands of Women, youth & PwDs in Rivers State and Nigeria, to the national leadership of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) in Abuja for their consideration and adoption 1/2

To mitigate the effects of flooding on farming, SDN provided Smart Agriculture training for farmers in Bayelsa State. This training has enabled farmers to adopt sustainable practices to protect their land & crops from flooding, boosting their resilience & productivity.

We have been carrying out an independent monitoring of HYPREP activities in Ogoniland to ensure strict compliance with the recommendations of the UN Environment Programme report, 2011. We do this by carrying out final close-out and certification 1/2
