Hand writing club with Mrs Miller, the children are making so much progress! They are writing the space invader alphabet!

Some photos from a very exciting day, completing mummification of our pharaohs, Virtual Reality workshop to explore ancient Egypt, burial procession, placing the pharaoh's sarcophagus into the tomb and finally an Egyptian feast!

A big thank you to Zack George, Steel from Gladiators for his visit today! All children will be bringing home a class photo with him, a signed picture and a water bottle! He did an assembly on the importance of being fit and healthy and having resilience to achieve our dreams!

For Year 5s Art Day, we created many forms of art based on iconic images of Nefertiti and Tutankhamun. Our main piece was sculpting pharaoh masks from mod-roc - a very messy business but lots of fun!

Don’t forget the big man’s visiting next week, his grotto is ready, ho ho ho 🎅, we will be taking all children who have a ticket to see Santa from Monday to Wednesday 🎁

6,7 it’s going to be a cheeky elf weekend and I am sure our school elves will cause more mischief as they have been this week! 2 weeks to go and don’t forget it is our Christmas fun day and fayre on the 11th December, see you there! 🎄
