BYU embraced by a rainbow this morning. Incidentally, at the very moment the rainbow appeared, I was listening to a podcast on Sir Isaac Newton's "Opticks", wherein he explains in systematic detail what causes rainbows. Life is beautiful and mysterious.

Setting up our new biotester from CellScale Biomaterials Testing. The first question we are going to answer is how well ultrasound elastography measures soft tissue mechanical properties.

New study: We developed RAPID, a device that can automatically detect entry into the abdominal cavity for laparoscopic procedures. This could enable remote telesurgery by removing the need for a surgeon to manually insert the initial trocar. Published in @ASMEJMedDevices.
