Cholera outbreaks often go undetected—but Dr. Kirsten Wiens is working to change that. Her research at Temple’s College of Public Health is helping to uncover hidden cases and improve global response strategies. 🔗 buff.ly/R4Nj0ef

In May, our Public Health Beyond Borders class visited Peru and implemented water quality improvement initiatives within the community, and led educational sessions on menstrual health at a local clinic and taught hygiene and nutrition to children at the local elementary school.
