Now that we’ve had a little bit to decompress, man am I thankful for this team. These seniors brought a love for the game of baseball that was unmatched and it showed. They tied the school record for wins, they set the bar for a winning standard here, and they empowered others.

We couldn’t do it without our staff. Best staff around and I’ll stand on that. Coach Jacob, Coach Engle, Coach Rider and Coach Miller, make our program better in every way. Their investment in our athletes as human beings is unmatched.

Add a 3.3 Team GPA and over 600 hours of community service from this group. 6 straight semesters of over a 3.0 as a team, 4 straight semesters over a 3.2. It all starts off the field, and I’m proud of this group for their dedication to our standards!! #DefendTheM #FishBall

Part of college baseball is learning community service and Tobie.Teke learned that at Muskingum Baseball . Today he was part of youth camp with Garden City Wind in Kansas. Cant help but have a big smile when your on a baseball field.

You can take the boy out of Muskingum, but you can’t take Muskingum Baseball out of the boy. Tobie.Teke goes 4-5 last night with a 3 run HR, and 3 backside singles!

He coached him at 8u, then again in middle school and finally as an assistant at South Dearborn. Last week Greg Hughes was able to watch him professionally. Tobie.Teke is grateful to have your experience and guidance all these years.

Felt so nice, he did it twice. Wind with a huge playoff win, and Tobie.Teke 3-4 with a grand slam, solo hr, single and walk. 5 rbi, 4 runs scored. A lot of smiles here in SE Indiana today!

His first professional season ended last night as the Wind fell in the mountain division final. He proved that D3 can also play some baseball. Tobie.Teke finished hitting .391 with 40 walks, 32 RBI and 4 HR’s. As he has done for years his OBP was .570
