Paper party with paper candidates. Doesn’t mean they won’t do well though. PC and others have got their work cut out.

Bec Tegid Roberts I mean, China saw into the future with it's critical material strategy, Japan secures strategic national resources through JOGMEC. Many other nations take a more interventionist strategic approach to their industry, realising it underpins national security and sovereignty.

OMG. They couldn’t have done this for Port Talbot? Is an England First the policy of U.K. governments? Bloody looks like it.

The UK Government’s response to not bothering to do anything to save Port Talbot steelworks? “MOVE ON” I can’t believe it, I genuinely can’t believe how they’re acting.

You fail to mention that the blast furnaces didn't stop until September, so there was time to change Tata's mind or nationalise the site.

Tegid Roberts (@tegidroberts) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I can’t believe this is my MP. There were 8 months between Tata’s announcement and them turning the furnaces off. When Labour came into power in July they should have move very quickly to persuade Tata to continue or nationalise the site. This is critical national infrastructure.

There is plenty of coking coal in the UK . Only problem is that both main parties decided that it should stay underground . Other countries decided not to adopt this policy as is shown by the existence of blast furnaces in all the other G7 countries .

This Swiss style salami sliced relationship between itself and the EU is what we’ll begin to see now. Slowly and over time.

Who would’ve thought that putting a Fox & Friends Weekend co-host with a known drinking problem and zero qualifications in charge of the Department of Defense would end in disaster?

Is it a good idea for the EU to now start to rely heavily on US LNG given the trouble that relying on Russian LNG gave them? Answers on a postcard.
