Today, TEC welcomed @CurtisEnnisHDSB into our community. Students enjoyed asking Director Ennis questions about his role & were thrilled when he joined the Gr. 7 music class & played the tambourine with the band. Students shared with him that Tecumseh is an inclusive community 😀

Students in Gr. 4 - 8 attended an Equity Presentation focusing on 2SLGTBQ+. Cal & Shannon from @getrealmovement shared their personal narratives helping our students understand that no matter how you identify, be proud of who you are. Ss were also reminded how to be an ally❤.

Tecumseh Public School's Book Fair is happening next week, from Tuesday to Thursday, May 2-4, in the library. We will also be open late on Wednesday, May 3, until 6:00 PM. Hope to see you there! 😀

Great to participate in the grade 7 “Explore the Trades” workshop. Such a variety of apprenticeships were presented! Some breakout sessions we explored were horse groomer, electrician, ECE, and video editor.

Thank you @activechefs for such an enjoyable evening promoting healthy eating and food literacy. It was amazing to watch our TEC families come together to build a healthier and stronger community.
