May is AAPI Heritage Month! Let's celebrate and commemorate the vast diversity, immense contributions, & cultural impact of AAPI communities. Please join Asian Caucus in celebrating #ShopAAPIMonth and support local AAPI businesses in your community as well as neighboring ones.
On this busy day, the Asian Caucus was glad to meet with the Asian American & Pacific Islanders Commission's Youth Council. We had a thoughtful discussion on ways the state can support AANHPI families. It's encouraging to see youngsters getting involved in politics and advocating for their communities.
