As part of our trustees meeting yesterday we said goodbye to Tony, who is stepping down after almost 20 years as a trustee for NEYEDC. Tony (3rd from L, back row📸) has witnessed lots of change in the organisation over the years & we're thankful for his service to the trust!

This week is #NationalMothWeek! We're big moth lovers here at NEYEDC and over the last few years we've supported lots of new recorders to get into moth trapping. We've caught (and released) some beauties... 💡 and we're in the process of perfecting our next set of moth traps!

The mist eventually cleared this morning allowing us to complete our RGB & multispectral habitat mapping work on a site at Ripon using the drone. This mapping will help in monitoring the site and informing management. Rob caught some extra images of the site with the quadcopter.
