Why is it that the bullies within schools are rarely forced to leave? More often than not, the Board's solution is to grant the victim permission to attend an out of area school. Until this changes, bullies will continue to wreak havoc.

Smaller classes make sense. However, when school boards are struggling to staff current levels, lowering class size isn't possible. Improving working conditions by tackling student behaviour will go a long way to attracting more people to the profession.

Student misbehaviour is the single biggest threat to school climate and, therefore, must be adequately addressed in order to provide safe spaces for student learning.

Big changes may be coming to schools. French immersion is likely to change, more students with disabilities will be integrated into regular classrooms, and some programs may be cut. This is all about cutting costs, not improving programming.
