🙋🏻‍♂️ Hello!
Does anyone still have an ICT Suite? I’m having an internal battle: update and refurbish ours, or use the space for something else. I still think there’s value in learning how to use a desktop, but I don’t know if I’m being a dinosaur. 🦕 All thoughts welcome!

Jumping back into Twitter to say a huge thank you to Tom Sherrington for the SPPS Conference today! Practical and empathetic - littered with the exact messaging we needed for staff. Thank you! ❤️ Looking forward to seeing how this develops our school!

A huge thank you to @nicolashamilton for visiting us this afternoon: an inspiring story of overcoming stereotypes and always persevering - an exceptional role model. Our children won’t forget it. ⭐️ Good luck this weekend!

Junk mail that starts with, “Did you get my last email? I appreciate you’re busy but…” REALLY grinds my gears. 🤦🏻‍♂️ I will not be buying from you.

🙋🏻‍♂️ Gap in the market: some kind of interior design/best-use-of-space/organiser/consultant type person for primary schools. Know anyone? 😂

I can’t help but feel the whole “Early Reading/Phonics/SSP” episode has just created a vulgar culture of money-grabbing companies, churning out constant “must-have/recommended” material, hidden-costs, and endless subscriptions, to the point where it should now be regulated. 🙃

⭐️ I typically struggle in the holidays (lack of structure, procrastination, no sense of purpose, etc). But this one has been a perfect mix: I’ve kept up running, been productive and also had downtime! Genuinely proud of me. I hope yours has been whatever you’ve needed it to be!

🥰 I’ve had Spotify for about 6 months, and this is what it’s learnt about me so far! What an excellent soundtrack for my morning run. 🏃🏽‍♂️

Morning! 🙋🏻‍♂️ Does anyone have examples of a unique job role they’ve created in their school, to solve a common problem, breaking the mould a little? Data-input people? Resources/reprographics (in primary)? T&L coach? Etc. HeadteacherChat The Leaders Team

Morning all!
I’m looking to gather all your best practice ideas related to using White Rose Maths!
How far do you go with the premium resources? Do you use the worksheets in full? Do you prefer the workbooks? Do you use an exercise book at all?
What adaptations do you make? ⭐️

🙋🏻‍♂️ Do we think Education will ever be in a position to offer “flexi-time/over-time” systems, where all the extra events and such can be rewarded in some way? I know the typical current answer is “flexibility”, but if generally everyone gets it fairly, is it a reward anymore?
