Pretty sure this is a Hooksett disk, one of over 4 million plastic disks or biofilm chips accidentally released from a wastewater treatment plant in Hooksett, New Hampshire, USA into the Merrimack river in March 2011. We found it on a beach in Ireland earlier this month.
