SEAD RECAP - DAY 3: Our Sr Coordinators taught our students all about the basic principles of suturing. Students had the opportunity to practice their suturing skills, and learn from one another!

Whether at home, at school, or in medical settings, young people do best when they are recognized and accepted for who they are. We stand with the 2SLGBTQ+ community today and every day.

It was a true honour to finally receive my white coat, and to lead my cohort in the recital of our personal class pledge as class president! Another great year the SOGC #ACSC2024 ! The medical student program is definetly a hidden gem for anyone interested in pursuing OBGYN. Grateful for the amazing week of learning, presenting our groups work and meetings new friends.

The 2024 Surgical Exploration and Discovery program at McGill is off to a great start! We have an exciting 2-weeks planned for our students including 9 workshops and over 175 ORs. Looking forward to getting to know everyone and learning from our surgical partners!

Today was the second day of SEAD 2024 and our students were very excited to step into the OR for the first time! n the afternoon, our students participated in an OBGYN workshop led by the one and only Dr. Zakhari who shared his wisdom and expertise!
