Forced conscription by any armed group must be condemned. People must have a choice, and their basic human rights must be respected. Forcing underage individuals into conscription is a war crime. #RohingyaNeedProtection

The Arakan Army (AA) abducted a Rohingya named Noor Mohammed, son of Zahid Huson, aged around 45 and father of five children, on April 23rd at 9 pm from Asheikja, Tha Yet Oak village, Maungdaw. His whereabouts are still unknown. He is a civilian and must be released immediately.

Many #Rohingya traditions centered around sharing happiness and joy have become rare since becoming #refugees . This cradle represents a cherished childhood memory from #Myanmar , offering moments of joy for children amidst their challenging circumstances.

The curfew hours, announced by the Arakan Army (AA), from 7 pm to 6 am, constitute arbitrary detention. If they aim to protect the Rohingya, they should refrain from using Rohingya villages as battlefields. #RohingyaNeedProtection

Denying the identity of the Rohingya and labelling them as “Bengali” is a serious violation of human rights. If this basic human right isn't respected, the future of the Rohingya are at a significant risk. #RohingyaNeedProtection

Another round of genocide is underway. Both the Myanmar military and the Arakan Army (AA) are committing serious crimes against the Rohingya. The International Court of Justice (ICJ) should order additional provisional measures. #RohingyaNeedProtection

Every day, Rohingya on the ground inform us that the Arakan Army (AA) has been abducting innocent Rohingya villagers. Sometimes, they also loot their properties. While AA leaders may say one thing, the ground reality tells another story. #RohingyaNeedProtection

Monjur Alam, a #Rohingya teacher, was heavily tortured last night by members of an armed group in camp-1. He is now in critical condition. Previously, his father was fatally attacked in camp-4. Despite relocating to camp-1 for his safety, he continues to face dire circumstances.

After six years, another genocide campaign on #rohingya has been going on in #arakan . Yesterday, dozen of rohingya lost their lives in the fight between #AA and military. Once a victim is always victim, there is no one to protect rohingya while #AA is protecting their own people.

The fire victims and their condition. It is reportedly known as approximately 1200 shelter were destroyed and they are in need of emergency supports.

I spoke with the victims and listen their story, what I found is very heartbreaking and painful as they have been displaced many times in the camp and this one very painful as it is winter here and would be very challenging.
