Strengthening local philanthropy ecosystems to strengthen the capacities and options for Local CSOs are essential for Locally led Development like increasing access to local resources and advocating for enabling environment for CSO effectiveness!

Conversations on localization, locally-led development, or decolonization should happen with groups, activists including CSOs on the ground in the global south and NOT behind the scenes among donors, and donor-based CSOs.

Equitable partnerships, that strengthen the leadership of CSOs in partner countries, are a priority concern. CSOs should openly discuss how to do better and, more importantly, should develop their own understanding of the solutions to challenges they face!
