Taraqee Foundation disbursed an amount of Rs. 6,000.000 among 400 students who graduated from vocational trainings in Quetta. Each student received Rs. 15,000. The program is supported by VSO and implemented by Taraqee Foundation. Soon, the Foundation will disburse.

Taraqee Foundation marked International MSMEs international Day with a vibrant event in District (Zhob, Musakhail, Kharan and Nushki), Speakers and SMEs highlighting innovation and entrepreneurial spirit from the region as well as opportunities in the GRASP project.

Taraqee Foundation with the support of GRASP project, In Access to Finance component, 20 loan borrowers /SMEs from Balochistan visited a fruit and vegetable drying factory in Karachi, Metro Cash & Carry’s vegetable and butchery sections, and a cold storage facility in Hyderabad.

Taraqee Foundation Celebrated MSMEs international Day in District Quetta and Pishin under the European Union (EU) funded GRASP Project with the main implementing partners International Trade Center (ITC), Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF),(SMEDA) and (FAO).

A referral mechanism workshop for updating the referral pathways was held at Deputy Commissioner Complex Pishin. The activity was jointly organized by Taraqee Foundation and SEHER organization in collaboration with IRC.

Towards safer reconstruction, staff review meeting, beneficiary orientation, & VRC formation conducted alongside field & construction site visits. Also engaged bank officials to streamline support.

An engaging and interactive Social Emotional Learning (SEL) session was held, where students participated with great enthusiasm and eagerness to learn.

The deputy country representative of UNHCR Fumiko Kashiwa, along with senior management of UNHCR, visited the Skill Development Center Ghosabad, where she met with the beneficiaries of all trades , discussed and checked ongoing activities, and the effectiveness TF-SFS Project.

Social Emotional Learning (SEL) session for Girls was held, where students participated with great enthusiasm and eagerness to learn.

Taraqee Foundation organized a PSEA (Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) awareness session for its Head Office support staff to promote a safe and respectful working environment.

The 14 August Independence Day celebration was held at the Deputy Commissioner Complex in Musakhel, with Deputy Commissioner Mr. Flt-Lft (R) Bilal Shabir as the chief guest Business Development Manager PPAF, Mr. Yahya Khan Musakhel, highlighted PPAF and TF's initiatives and GRASP

On 18th August 2025, Independence Day was celebrated in Hazara Town, Quetta with great zeal and enthusiasm. The program featured inspiring speeches by students in both Urdu and English, reflecting on the true meaning of freedom and the sacrifices behind Pakistan’s independence.

Under the RBWRP project supported by FAO, the TF team recently visited Kili Chinalai, Kili Minara Qila, and Kili Laman Makhter in District Loralai, as well as Kili Hajyan Nigandha and Kili Ghabargai/Shela Shamozai in District Pishin.
