Her brother got a new dirt bike and she decided it was time for her to join the club too! She’s not one to be left behind. LikeAGirl 😁. She jumped on and took off! Hell on wheels and now we will be lucky to get any work out of her on the farm this spring! 🙃😉

Kind of a cool story…. My daughter will be doing a summer internship in Uganda with an organization my sister co-founded. Even cooler yet, when she was little she met the gal and her child she will be serving and staying with! The circle of life. God is good.

The kids are helping my dad get ready for his 51st planting season! It’s a true family farming operation and these two are stepping up and learning from one of the best!

What a GREAT documentary! We watched The Farmer’s Daughter and LOVED it! David Brown came on and I was like “I know him!” Regardless, an amazing family farm story. And Pam Smith, the wheat t-shirts must be made of super power cotton. They live on and on and on… 🤷‍♀️💕

The planter is rolling and the boss wanted a job to do too. Ask and you shall receive! She’s actually really good help! You just need to be able to tune out her sass. 🤷‍♀️🙃

My 89 yo uncle spent a majority of his life finishing concrete and also helping on the farm. He still lives on the farm but had a wish to help finish one more time. That wish came true while we poured concrete on the farm today! Oh how work ethics have changed over time.

Grandpa turned Jax loose with the soil finisher today! It’s been a fun few years watching him take on more responsibility each season! Last fall it was the grain cart and ripper. Grandpa isn’t giving up his seat in the planter and combine anytime soon though. 😉🙃

The 10yo doesn’t like school lunch. It’s sad because I used to love it, but it’s changed a lot! This one takes over the kitchen and packs a fresh lunch for her brother too. She said no one should be allowed to eat what they serve and she’s looking out for him. 🤷‍♀️😆

We made a purchase! We camped for 10 years and sold our camper 5 years ago. The kids decided they were ready to camp again…. We agreed! We typically VRBO rentals at The Lake of Ozarks in Missouri, but this year we’re moving to a permanent campsite down there!

My folks officially wrapped up their 51st planting season! It’s fun watching my kids take on more and more responsibilities and really cool that they get taught by two very passionate farmers!

My daughter and sister are off to Uganda! My daughter is doing an ag internship over there until Aug and my sister is traveling with her for the first week! What a fun experience!

As many of you know, my daughter took off for Uganda with my sister a few days ago. There’s a pretty cool backside story to it as well as doing an Ag internship over there. God had a hand in all of this from the beginning. Such a small world. It simply amazes me.

The oldest flew to Uganda 3.5 wks ago for a 10 wk internship. She had a cyst removed in her mouth a few hours before leaving. Everything was good until 2 days ago when it filled up again and she had to fly back to seek medical attention stateside. She’s landed safe and sound!

Although the oldest had to come back early from Uganda, I’m perfectly okay with it because she made it to the Lake for a much needed weekend reset! We love #LOTO
