- Shea Welburn has supreme confidence.

- Shannon Welburn doesn't back down from a challenge.

- Laura Girouard continues to excel on D.

- This team can win it all next year.

Wellesley trailed by two entering the fourth, then used a 21-0 run to seize command and earn a 55-40 win over Framingham.

Tara Battaglino was a force inside, the Welburn twins chipped in and the senior-less Raiders showed their potential.

“They play with such energy together.'

Battaglino: 'I thought it was just our teamwork and the way we rallied around each other.'

Shea Welburn: 'It started with the stops on the defensive end.'

Magpiong on the Welburns: 'It’s almost like mental telepathy. They know where the other’s going to be. Sometimes you look and go, ‘Oh no,’ and then it’s a great pass.'

On Battaglino: 'She probably had 10 hugs on the court. That’s infectious and it’s really nice to be around.'

Thoughts on Wellesley Girls Hoop:

- Tara Battaglino has tremendous vision and footwork.

- Shea and Shannon Welburn have that classic twin telepathy.

- Laura Girouard is the glue.

- No seniors on the roster. Very bright future, and fully capable of making a run this year.
