Yoooooo Kody Swanson just won the Follow @USFPro2000 race at IRP in his first career start in that series. The 5 Time Silver Crown star can flat out drive anything on a short oval.

Awesome night at IRP. Silver Crown wins aren’t nearly as sweet when Kody Swanson doesn’t get an honest shot at it. Still can’t believe he and his team won their first Pro 2000 race in both of their first starts!

In case anyone was wondering, pavement midgets are still badass. They need to be back more often.

Update: Petry Motorsports and Kenny Irwin are pretty damn good at pavement midgets. Especially for a car and driver that haven’t run since 2014 and spent 0 test days at the track. Driver let them down this time. Hopefully not the last chance we get.

Also the Doran Racing team gave me an awesome sprint car. Driver just needs to get a little better and knock some rust off. We will take a Top 5!

I think it’s safe to say this is the same feeling we all have, no matter your age, when you see a crown car at the mile go by! RACECARS!
