Our last activity night of the year was a success. We played games, danced, hung out with the robotics team, painted rocks, played basketball, ate pizza and really enjoyed each other's company! A special thank you to all the parent volunteers who made these special Dexter Athletics

Each year a female turtle visits the Creekside playground to lay her eggs in the mulch under our space net.  Pictured here are the turtle and the students who roped off her nest to protect it.  We are so lucky to have such real-world nature lessons right in our backyard!

Kindergarteners visited the Creekside garden to learn about the importance of worms and to plant their own seeds. Sixth-grade students read them a story and gave them tours of the kitchen classroom and the gardens.

The school year may be over, the classrooms cleaned out, the hallways empty...but school janitors are still hard at work. Thank you for cleaning & preparing our schools over the summer so they're in tip-top shape for the new school year. #ThankYouThursday
