Exciting news! Coast Communications and Public Affairs has partnered with strategy advisory firm Deetken Insight and artificial intelligence developers Cypress AI to launch Middle Ground, an AI tool that offers the public clear & accurate answers about infrastructure projects.

Middle Ground supports major project proponents—like those in mining, infrastructure, and energy—by simplifying complex data and facilitating consultations with the public, stakeholders, First Nations, and community members.

Middle Ground Origin Story✨ As a team that delivers consultation & engagement services, we recognized that AI could transform how we approach public consultation. The idea began with our Owner Tamara Little and her son, Josh Syer, a university student passionate about AI.

Josh’s initial demo showed promise, leading them to search for ways to bring the concept to market. That’s when they found Vancouver-based Deetken Insight and Cypress AI, which developed a tool aligned with our vision.
