The Baxter water plant staff, PWD etc. made competent decisions and kept our water safe. Even while our elected officials totally bungled the info and PR. Keep that in mind next time someone running for office suggests they know best and/or cutting budgets and muni staff.

I’ve read a lot of horrible, terrible things on this bird app, but finding out there’s a Michael Morris out there ā€œdubbed the ā€˜king of sprawlā€™ā€ (also seemingly outspokenly pro-infrastructure produced racism)… might be the most devastating.

As Mayor, I’ll fight for smart investments into our city. The Roosevelt Boulevard Subway could serve over 100k riders per day! This line would give residents in Northeast Philadelphia a convenient, reliable and quick way to access Center City without a car.

Not mentioned in this article but I really didn’t like when CP said the city doesn’t need a manager for Mayor (bc we have a managing director.) That is *absolutely* what we need from the next Mayor, like did we all just live under the same Kenney admin?? inquirer.com/politics/elect…

Jake Sherman Kevin McCarthy Work requirements don't work to increase work. They only work to shrink spending and grow poverty. Meanwhile, the monthly child tax credit we did for 6 months in 2021 had no work requirement and it decreased poverty, did not decrease work, and had an estimated ROI of $10 per $1.

Climate Crisis aside… the upside of all this bad air quality is I can blame it when I’m out of breath from only mildly strenuous activities, instead of accepting the possibility that I’m just very out of shape atm.

Today will be extra fun because the same Court that said the Constitution prohibits private colleges from considering race as a factor in admissions is going to say that private bakeries can consider sexual orientation as a factor in who they make cakes for

Starting to look like the hours and hours I spent storyboarding my ā€œI Want to Marry Joe Biden for Forgiving My Student Loansā€ website, might not have been a good use of my time. I guess your marriage (and all related rights) is safe(r than mine) for another day First Lady Melania Trump!
