Yesterday it was a pleasure to join the Fylde coast Cancer patient's and carers education afternoon to talk to people about how their physical health is affecting their mental health and share relaxation/grounding techniques for use hen feeling overwhelmed. Pauline,Lauren and I attended LSCFT School to Work programme at Chorley Hospital. Students from Lancashire based schools attended and we ran 3 interactive sessions to give them a taster of psychological therapies. Yesterday I headed to Cartmel Show as part of a drive to work with the farming community around mental health. Farming is really under pressure at the moment and it became clear quite quickly yesterday there is a need for mental health support. Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust

Today we were up in Barrow at the Park's Family Fun & Health Day organised by Social Prescribing. Good job we had a gazebo...it wouldn't be the lakes without a shower. Was good to showcase what we can offer the local community @wearelscft
