Mount Vernon has four semifinalists. Talked with Kate Martin and Kiersten Swart about training together and making each other better. They combined for four pins today. Adeline Whisner (145) and Gracie Pinckney (170) also reached the semifinals for the Mustangs.

ISU fun fact: Nate Heise’s sister, Taylor Heise, is a member of Team USA Women’s Hockey for this years’ Winter Olympics. She also won the 2022 Patty Kazmaier Award, given to the best women’s college hockey player in the country.
